ST. DAVID'S PRIMARY SCHOOL.
St. David's Primary is a denominational school which services West Johnstone.

St. David's forms part of the unique West Johnstone Shared Campus which also includes Cochrane Castle Primary School, West Johnstone Family Centre and West Johnstone Community Learning Centre. The shared campus opened in January 2008, was built by Carillion and is managed by Amey.

St. David's is a two storey wing of the Campus. It containes six classrooms, one physical activity room, one specialist room, one pupil support room. The shared area contains two meeting rooms, visiting specialists' room, conference room, gym, assembly hall/cafeteria, parents' room and study resource room.

Within the school grounds there is a football pitch and an environmental garden. The new building has dedicated parking spaces to ease access for people with disabilities. The interior of the building is designed to maintain this ease of access throughout.

We value all our pupils and provide support to meet their needs in education, pastoral care, personal and social development in a happy, secure, fair and equal atmosphere where pupils, parents, staff and visitors feel welcome and part of the school community.
We maintain a positive, caring and hardworking ethos in St. David's Primary. We actively promote and develop confidence and self esteem in our pupils. We have an inclusive ethos which honours life, dignity and the voice of each child so that our children are equipped for the 21st century.

Our pupils are actively involved in the pupil council, eco committee, travel plan grou, school nutrition action group and through these the children's voices can be heard and ideas developed.

Parents are very supportive and many are involved in our Parent Council.
